Comments: The second pitch crux is Awesome! Looks a little intimidating but just keep moving. Great route and really well bolted.

Comments: If climbing near the top of Donner (Goldilocks, Schoolhouse, Hiking PCT etc), please do not park in the paved part of the Sugar Bowl Academy lot (formerly ASI). There is a service road that runs out the back of the lot. Parking on any of the dirt in this area is permitted. Just stay off the pavement.
Bathrooms are rather scarce on Donner, and burying it is tough since most of the ground is solid rock. There is an outhouse at Snowshed wall (can't miss it), as well as bathrooms at the Cafe in Nor... more >>

Comments: Just a couple of updates to this area. If you plan on parking close to the summit of Donnar Pass, for climbes on school house rock, grouse slabs, star wall, and others, try to park on the road. Sugar Bowl Academy (formerly ASI) does not allow the general public to use their parking lot. If you are going to park there, make sure you are in the dirt part close to the metal shed. The same thing goes for the bathrooms in the school. They legally can not allow public to use them so please dont ask. T... more >>

Comments: Just a quick update. The parking at Donnar pass for School House Rock and Grouse Slabs as well as some others is in the area is at Sugar Bowl Academy. This used to be ASI. If you are going to park there make sure you park in the dirt part of the lot close to the old metal building. THE PAVED PART IS A PRIVATE LOT. Parking along hwy 40 is allowed and there are many good places to pull out. The school can not legally allow the public to use the restrooms so come prepared since the next bathrooms a... more >>
