Comments: I think this is the right route...anyway
Is it just me or is the move up left to the last bolt scary?!? I've been on it three different times and had to bail 3X. I have no problem 'til I get out from under the roof. I traverse right then its left undercling, right pinch. The move itself is not hard, (left side mantle, and the holds are good) but the fall looks nasty! I know I could do this on the ground or on TR, but the fall potential to me looks bad; plus the wind hits me every time ... more >>

First hanger is loose! Nut needs tightening, but the bolt itself seems ok. I had no tools with me on Sunday or I would have tightened it myself.

Comments: Just got on this for the first time last Sunday. WATCH OUT! The hornets are C.R.A.Z.Y. this time of year. They warm themselves on the sunny faces during midday. Anyway; awesome route, and way more over-hanging than I had thought looking up from the ground.

Comments: I was just at Gov. Dogde this past weekend for the first time (for climbing). That layback route "A Red Recollection" is pretty sweet; we noticed it just as we were leaving. I had only enough time to get past the first few moves, before we had to leave. I'm def. going back next week to send it though. The rock seemed to be in pretty good shape as well, although it is pretty soft and crumbly in other spots.
