Comments: Fixed. I think there was some import bugs for this route from long ago.

Comments: There is no easy fix for this one. I've deleted the V5 rating. Please stick with 5.x ratings for this route.

Comments: Ditto on the Rolofson guide. It was a nice addition the outdated Rossiter guide, but possibly the worst set of guidebooks ever - no index, routes listed out of order, and pages fell out before you could leave the store.

The new one is from Boulder local Bob D'Antonio, who put up an awful lot of the routes in the book.

Comments: The climbing community will be coming together Wednesday evening to celebrate the lives and adventures of our fallen friends--climbers Jonny Copp and Wade Johnson, as well as send our collective strength to still-missing climber Micah Dash. Please join us for a tribute to these remarkable adventurers at the beginning of the Telluride Mountainfilm Zero Emissions Tour, hosted by the Access Fund, at the Boulder Theater this Wednesday night. More information about the show at www.bouldertheater.com.

Comments: Finally got to the bottom of the problems with IE, and it should all work correctly now. You will have to log out and log back in to Mountain Project first though.

Comments: I can't see how the move off the ground, straight up past the bolt, is less than 10d, and I would have guessed 11a if I hadn't read about it beforehand. No way it's 9 - no matter what you do at the top of the route.

Comments: This is easily the best of the three routes conjoined at the bottom here. Good crux above the second bolt, nice lieback to the small overhanging move. Do this and skip the ones to the left and right.

Comments: Really just one 5.9 move - from the last bolt your move from the easy wide crack to the face, which is a bit delicate. A single 5.8 move at the top wide crack (just below the anchor) is also interesting (blue #3 Camalot - don't bother with the #4). Otherwise easy and unremarkable climbing.

Comments: Awesome climbing that would be solid 4 stars if it was longer and didn't have the chossy start to get to the crack. The loose rock others mentioned is either gone or trivial to avoid. Easy pro and really fun moves the whole way up.

Comments: Nice addition to the area. 5.8 climbing from the start until the last 20 feet, when it steepens and the holds get much smaller. Lichen is mostly removed where you don't want it. The upper section very well protected, the lower section is bordering on excessive.

Comments: Good moves with some nice variation. Well bolted, don't bother bringing gear.

Comments: More details from the Denver Post:

Todd Skinner, an internationally renowned rock climber who ranked among the world's best during the 1990s, died Oct. 23 after falling 500 feet as he and his partner rappelled down from their first attempt at a new route on Leaning Tower in Yosemite National Park, Calif. He was 48.

Skinner, with partner Paul Piana, secured his place in the annals of elite American climbers with the 1988 first free-climbing ascent of the Salathe Wall on El Capitan in Yosemite.

Comments: Easy West Descent - 60M rope only

From the very top, easily walk down the ramp 20 feet to the north, then scramble (4th class) west back into the chimney and cross over to some stout bolts on the west side of the chimney. One bolt is just visible from the summit. The bolts face north and have a chain but no rings. We slung the rope through the quicklinks.

Rap 15 feet to a ledge, and continue 80 feet more to a large boulder with another rap station hidden underneath. Use knots - you'... more >>

Comments: The first 30 feet consist of a grunty chimney/offwidth. Possible to get a #4 Camalot about halfway up, but not much else. The top half is a short but decent hand crack in a corner so tight its a bit awkward, taking as many #1 and #2 Camalots as you want. Not a destination...
