Comments: I think what I did is what Melin described as "straight up the right crack just left of the small overhang". I stayed inside the finger crack to the left and the upper seam on the right.

Comments: Absolute classic. Remember some slings for the undercling crux. I tried to jam the crux crack but laying back with high feet seemed best. Enjoy!

Comments: Hard start for sure to the pin in the seam, 5.11ish. The rest was classic granite slab going about 5.10+. Still a touch run out even with all the bolts. A lead sans bolts would be a solo.

Comments: For the record I have no direct personal interest in NU besides that my friend Vinny does it. Just glad to see the name getting out there.
This route is a classic and a entrance exam to the hard DL leading. Paul, did you do Coup d'Etat yet? Be sure to wear the NU shirt ;)

Comments: I wouldn't give this climb an "X". Tricky placements but they are at the right spots and I'm fairly sure they would hold. "R" rated I would say.
An on sight of a DL non-"R" or "X" 5.11 is pretty bold regardless.
