Comments: Start up in a dirty, eroding gully (go left from the main entrance trail at the parking lot). There's a low bolt for the belayer. Tricky move to the first bolt, then follow big jugs up to a cruxy sidestep about two-thirds of the way up. Very steep for the grade. One of the better moderates around the parking lot.

Comments: I wouldn't call this PG. Perfect pro up to the bolt, then just two moves to the left, over very smooth & safe falling terrain, but it's not that hard anyways. Then step up and a perfect #1 C3 goes in a slot. Two more moves and you're done.

Comments: Have double Camalots from #1, 2, 3, and 4 was fine (plus some smaller stuff). The wide crack on P3 take a surprising amount of smaller stuff.

Comments: I found the crux to be the slick glacier polish up high. To make this more interesting, do the first 2 bolts of Zoe, and finish on this route, which is a nice natural line anyways.

Comments: I should have no problem at this grade, but I retreated after placing the first (and only possible) piece of gear 10' up and still 10' from the first bolt. TR'd it and was glad I didn't lead it - the top would also be scary. Really fun route though!

Comments: The crux around the 5-6th bolts is quite hard. It's only 2-3 moves, but I think solid 5.10, maybe even 10+ by local standards. I think many people are doing the wrong route - this one is trivial for the first couple bolts.

Comments: If you like slabby face climbing, this is about as good as it gets. Very consistent 5.8+/9- climbing for 5 long pitches. 4 stars if you like slab. Probably 1 if you want something more interesting. A handful of cams (up to #1 red Camalot) are all you need.

Comments: I found it fine reaching the first bolt (at 5' 7"), but really struggled at the 5th. That one move is honest 5.11a - which means 5.11d in Boulder Canyon.

Comments: Mossy. Licheny. Rotten rock. But kind of good, if you're in an adventurous mood! I broke a very large rock, took a good fall, and luckily didn't hurt anyone when the microwave-size block hit the trail below. Can get down in two raps. Second is tucked in and hard to see.

Comments: Done this 5 or 6 times but never the second pitch until today. Very worthwhile! A bit easier, but the pro is not as good. Nice long pitch to near the top. From there, find a rap station to the east; two raps gets you back to the trail.

Comments: One of the best sport climbs at the grade in BC. Great, continuous moves, especially on the second pitch. Perfect view of Boulder Falls the whole way. Would be a stellar trad climb....

Comments: We appreciate the offers to pay a couple bucks for the app, and certainly a straight donation is a nice gesture. We want MP to be THE climbing web resource, and do that, it needs to be free. We'd rather you support our sponsors (who support us), and in particular the Dirtbag Deals. That mostly stuff you're probably going to buy anyways at some point, we find it on sale, and then we all benefit when you click through our site first. Thanks!

Comments: The iPhone 3G and the 3GS have a true GPS chip and will locate you without a cell signal. It is not particularly accurate compared to a dedicated GPS unit and if you use a GPS app continuously (such as MotionX GPS, which is excellent), you will kill the battery in about an hour. The original iPhone only works via cell tower triangulation, requires a strong cell signal, and is only accurate to a couple hundred yards under the best circumstances.

Comments: In the mean time, the Mountain Project iPhone app is pretty handy for those locations where you have a signal... See the iPhone link on the footer of any MP page if you haven't seen it.

Comments: Ditto on the Rolofson guide. It was a nice addition the outdated Rossiter guide, but possibly the worst set of guidebooks ever - no index, routes listed out of order, and pages fell out before you could leave the store. The new one is from Boulder local Bob D'Antonio, who put up an awful lot of the routes in the book.
