For me, climbing is about doing aesthetic routes, appreciating the wild, natural places into which they lead, and simply having fun.
The main things I look for in a partner are enthusiasm and a good attitude. A newer climber who's fun to climb with is infinitely better than a veteran who's only into chasing grades and/or competing.
I'm solid, safe, and experienced, and I climb mostly trad and sport.
Locally, I'm occasionally looking for a partner for Seneca, the New, and the gym. Elsewhere, I'm occasionally looking for partners for Red Rocks, the Sierra (especially Tuolumne), and elsewhere in the west.
