Comments: One certainly appreciates Mr. Blunk's ape index when attempting cross of iron, but this thing is definitely not dependent upon having a huge wingspan. A hard sporty opening move yes, but unlikely any harder unless you are really short...say under 5 feet. I saw a relatively short person (5'1") fire the opening moves on this thing, but she barely reached the hold.

Comments: Keep climbing in June? Sometimes climbing just isn't compatible with other values. We might as well start disregarding raptor closures...we can tell the birds that they will have to nest in November or December.

Comments: If you go to do this thing, take a shovel, it could be extended another 15 feet by digging out the back of the cave.

Comments: I was on this thing with a buddy a few years back, when I got on top he said "something bit me!" Sure enough, he had two little holes on his calf that were oozing blood. He was convinced that it was a bat and paid for the rabies series - $1200 - ouch! With all of the photo's you guys post of this climb, I'm surprised there isn't one of the hibernacula. Watch out!

Comments: I was just there yesterday and saw at least fifteen rattlers chasing some cute girl from Boulder down the trail. Good thing she moved so fast.

Comments: Poisonous lizards...you are right, I was actualy bitten by a komodo dragon after I refused to share my moose steaks. I nearly lost my right leg, it's still weak and now I walk with a pronounced limp.
