● Lurking Fear
Oct 10, 2022 · Lead. 3 days with Ceeanna. Passed slower party at start of day 2, then didn’t see anyone until the descent. Had lots of down/waiting time, so a two day wall style climb should be no problem. Bivy at pitch 13 was surprisingly nice. Gear notes for next time: no heads, pins, rivet hangers or nuts needed. 2x Totems black-yellow, plus 1x green, gold, and gray aliens. 3x .5 and.75. 2x #1-4. 1x #5. Two narrow camhooks, one cliffhanger, grappling, and talon hooks. One set of offset cams (but I think we only used the smallest three). Sloan and Supertopo gear list are heavy. Don’t forget to go straight down on the descent after crossing the Nose ridge!

Sep 3, 2021 · party wall with Elliot, Sean, and Shannon. hot, but a really fun and physically tough climb. felt way harder than other El Cap routes.

Aug 27, 2021 · Lead. Went clean with fixed heads. The 3 or 4 fixed heads looked new. Critical gear was two Leeper narrow cam hooks, lots of hand placed beaks, and offset brass nuts. Two #4s and a #5 were good to have for the grovel/groove below the top.

Jun 26, 2021 · Lead. IAD push with Elliot. Suuuuper hot day in the Valley, but we started hiking just before sunrise and temps while climbing were surprisingly pleasant! The only real suffering was on the hike down.
