I sat there on that tiny stance, getting blown back and forth, watching the skull and crossbones display on the robot. I guess its batteries were low or something. Truly craptastic. Mike hate robot! Robot must die!

Does anybody know an easy way to calculate kN based on fall length? If it was 50 ft, how much force was generated on the piece?

At the time, I felt like hot stuff in my eb's and swami belt. A big hex (#8? #9?) protected the first crux nicely.
I went back up today, 20+ years later, a snot-nosed 38 year old, with my rack of expensive active protection, super tight Katanas, and a winter's worth of flailing in the gym. I was left with one question: Was I b... more >>
