Comments: Did this route on 5/24. Great snow conditions except for a few rock steps - one in the lower part and a couple in the upper section. No rope, no pro - just perfect snow conditions and many thanks to the parties in front of us for the steps! We counted three other parties (or 8 others) ahead of our group of three. We summited around 11:45AM.-

Watch the decent if you come off the Loft via. the normal ledges. The snow was turning to mashed potatoes at that point and made for an "interesting" downc... more >>

Comments: Pretty fat - maybe the biggest I've seen in a few years. Full curtain varies (small void in middle) from WI2-3. Great after-work romp. Catch it quickly though, weather forecast for this week is springlike, so it may turn to slush.

Comments: Did this route on Monday, 9/23. Weather was great, but the technical part was iced up pretty good. If it wasn't verglas on the slabby portion, there were several little "waterfalls" making things a little difficult (especially when you exit left to get to the upperbolt) - probably more like the 5.6, 7ish feel as previously suggested. Decended the "Clarks Arrow" or Loft route to make a nice Tour de Long's. Another note of interest to us ice climbers as well...looks like the waterice coming off th... more >>
