Comments: Just got down from a nice solo on the Stairway, great route. Make sure you stay on the Mesa Trail until you hit the dilapidated wooden fence, from there, stay near the creek, meandering uphill on a talus slope then back down to the water- it's not far. Stay right of the first roof and then out and around left the next corner/'roof' system (which you are basically in already if you went right around the first roof).
