Comments: The off-width crux is surly the crux. I can not wait to try this route again. It is fun for The Palace.

Comments: Bolts are about five feet apart. I would not want to fall because of all the ledges on this route. I was my first Poudre River sport lead though.

Comments: The Scepter is a fun route with plenty of protection. All falls look fairly clean (I say "look" because I did not take any that day) and all the bolts are good.
