Comments: Did this route(?) yesterday with my climbing buddy Tom who's been climbing for over 30 years. The route topo and description in the current guide book suck as well as various other comments on other websites pertaining to this route. After careful study we still got way off route with some 5.8+ overhangs and some serious liebacking to boot. All in all we had a challenging day but if your expecting 5.5+ you better be on route (wherever that may be) or else you're in for an adventure which ain'... more >>

Comments: I guess we did the two 5.6 variations on the first and second pitches per the guidebook. Never found the 4th class section per the guidebook so we probably were off route a bit. Wasn't my intention to inflate the original rating be it 5.1 or whatever.

Comments: Great route! Agree with the other comments about getting off route and route finding. My partner and I agreed that we were pretty certain we made a number of 5.6-5.7 moves. Never got into any sections of 4th class like the guidebook states. We were able to do the entire route in 4 pitches with a 60 meter rope. We finished off right going over an exposed lip with marginal hand holds. Anybody ever finished this way?

Comments: I did this route with my friend Michelle last week. Excellent beginner lead. A little more difficult than 5.4 at the top but the holds are all there.

Comments: Followed this route yesterday with my friend Tom who turns sixty on Wednesday. Fell making the move onto the horn the first time, fell twice making the move off the horn. What a kick! Hats off to the fellows who first did this route along time ago!
