Back in 1988 I was lucky to be a part of the Hueco Tanks bouldering scene during the Todd Skinner era, (Hacienda de la Fuerza) now known as the HRR was the place to be. The 1st Hueco bouldering Guidebook by the Verm was published. V9 was the hardest grade to shoot for and Pete's was open serving gorditas and black lager stout. Now I'm a family man, author and Sherpa. I still try to climb strong on a regular basis.
