Got to Potrero Chico in January. Doing AZ in March, some Watsach in April, and Japan in May.

Nov3--did all that. Now plan to go to Mendoza Canyon near Tucson. Be in the Bay area in mid-March. Be near Tahquitz and Suicide mid June.

Faulted surface. Supremacy Rock. El Dorado Canyon, CO.  Coal Creek Quartzite.  Another nearby faulted climbing surface is Red Slab, Clear Creek Canyon, CO.<br />The polished surface is the result of 2 blocks of rock moving across each other.  A fault is a rock fracture which moves.  Unknown at the time of posting this pic is when this movement occurred--1 billion+ years ago when rocks were colliding against present North American from the south?--During the rise of the Ancestral Rockies ~ 300+ million years?; during the Laramide Orogeny, 63 million years ago?
