Comments: Klimbien, there are 2 ways to access this Peak. One is from the West - as per Kaner. The other is from the East as per the original directions. It depends on how much you want to walk vs. how much you want to drive.

Comments: Nah, if it were superhero sort of thing, it wouldn't be sore. Reflexive and mortal...you'd have done the same thing, George.

Comments: Beware when sitting below this route on a windy day. We got a softball-sized rock bouncing down the gully to the right heading straight for my partner. I deflected it with my hand, but it bruised it up and it's sore.

Comments: FWIW, you don't have to dyno. This is not a boy climb. Footwork really makes it not strenuous. Sunglasses are not recommended.

Comments: That little crag is ~5.5 miles from the parking via Staunton Ranch Trail, Bugling Elk trail, Lion's Back trail, and then perhaps some cross country? Have you been on it?

Comments: We did that line to the right, too. We thought it was P1 of Ancient Relics, 2p, 10 R. The online guide listed P1 as 5.9, which felt perhaps soft. Since we didn't do P2, I didn't add it to the database yet.

It was great to get out and climb there with you. Thanks for sharing this!
