Comments: Nice map of a nice link up... also if you are up to leading Pinetree you might enjoy starting on Turners Flake 5.8 or Toe Crack 5.7 then finishing on Thin Air to Pinetree... That gives the route a more sustained feel and those pitches are way more interesting than the first 2 pitches of Thin Air... just my thoughts...
P.S. the anchor spot here for the 3rd belay looks like its a bit high... but i guess that ledge is pretty obvious when you get there...

Comments: Don't ask why it took me so long to get around to this route but i finally got on it today... I am still very confused at 2 or 3 moves in the crux corner but the rest of the route went really well... Im payched to learn how it goes (ill accept help)...

Comments: thats out secret weapon... we used office style carpet... obviously we werent going for realistic texture... rather something to learn how to crack climb and just run some laps on that wouldnt rip up your hands...

Comments: yeah, whichever way you do it the traverse moves are the second pitch crux... and both ways are fun... next time you should take the high road just to mix things up...

Comments: well matt, the reason i did the route is that i saw a cool knee bar at the lip so you should look for it... i think its all safe but there might be a little loose stuff on top so just be careful of where the rope runs...
im psyched you are getting on some trad stuff at rumney, not enough people do... PS, have you checked out Suicide Kings yet?

Comments: yup, with a good solid directional of course... i would have used a tree but the anchors make it so easy to get down i just did that instead...
