Just about to pull into the crack. I had to get my feet up high and lay back on my arms to get in there. Once in the crack, great foot and hand jams. The crux (for me) is traversing under that roof you see to the left.   A couple moves up into the Beast Flake. I protected with a purple camalot down low, then just moved the # 3 with me the rest of the way. Great stances for rests the whole way up.  Just entering the Beast Flake. For anyone taller than 5'2, with a positive ape index, this part isn't tricky. For the rest of us (me), it felt a little reachy!   Another pendulum photo.
