Comments: I climbed this route yesterday and would like to pass along some helpful beta. If you are a mid-10 leader at The Creek like me, I would start on the left (not the right like it says in Doc Bloom's book). Move to the right when the crack starts getting real tight, then move back to the left at the next easier opportunity to do it (where the .75 splitter starts turning to the right). It's a great crack but starting on the right is kind of chossy and harder than it looks and certainly harder than 1... more >>

Comments: This is a fun crag! Central Corner is Definitely worth the hike. Look for a white post with the number 410 on it. Cross a dry wash. Aim straight for the crag. There is a trail with cairns that is approx. in between a tall pile of boulders on the left and a long low triangular boulder on the right.

Comments: On August 21st, the Casual Route was wet enough to have water actually running down across and out of the traverse, even though it hadn't rained that day and only for 5 or 10 minutes the day before. The crux pitch and the 4th pitch also looked very wet (water running out of them.) So, apparently, if it has been raining a lot recently, (although not in the last day or so), there is a very good chance this route will be quite wet.
