Just put this in a survey about why i climb/train - explains my motivations: The "Mental Game" is more far more important to me than all of the above. (Joy of movement, accomplishment, physical health, being with other climbers) The feeling of being at your physical and mental limits and maintaining control of your situation, your body, and your mind is the #1 reason to climb. I do not train for climbing as that really has no bearing or affect on how much i enjoy being in the moment while climbing. |
