More information:
  • Not able to climb as much or travel as far as I used to these days. I have two new additions to my family who deserve most of my time. That said, please hit me up if you're looking for a partner for a few hours at the Delaware Water Gap, Stoney Ridge, Ralph Stover, or Haycock - I still love to get out on the rock when I can make time.

Just put this in a survey about why i climb/train - explains my motivations:

The "Mental Game" is more far more important to me than all of the above. (Joy of movement, accomplishment, physical health, being with other climbers) The feeling of being at your physical and mental limits and maintaining control of your situation, your body, and your mind is the #1 reason to climb. I do not train for climbing as that really has no bearing or affect on how much i enjoy being in the moment while climbing.
