Aka "Lance" elsewhere on site. Climber since 1976, mostly at lead, now solely sticking to moderate climbs. I've generally underestimated my ratings, but to keep it real, I prefer 5.6-5.7 or 8 and will not lead if doubt, runouts, or questionable rock or route. Doing more topropes now, and interested in one or more partners who like to keep things sane, and love to lead, possibly on sport routes. If you can hang with an old school geezer who believes in ground level anchored belays, and solid TRAD skills, we should talk. Also willing to mentor beginner, I like doing that. You'll find me fun, humorous, thorough, well trained, and not hung up about handing off or training for leads. Eleven Mile Canyon, local bluffs, and now interested in Flatirons, Eldo, possible shorter alpine in RMNP, or anywhere the granite is good! Take care! Look forward to climbing with you! |
