The first half of the final pitch of the so-called 3rd Class Standard Route of Hayden Spire. Though it doesn't look like hard climbing, the vertical, roofy section goes up about 70-80 ft. before leveling off left toward the summit.

Nancy at the belay below the 5.6 pitch which ends at the notch at the top center of the photo. When you look down at the other side from the top of the notch, you get a clear view of the north side of the spire and I what I presume to be the 5.2 route.
