Comments: looking to possibly break into 5.9 on trad. im just curious though, is this a legit trad route or more of a highballish boulder route that you could do on gear? doesn't seem very long

Comments: still not quite sure what the two asterisks are referencing unless im just misunderstanding you JSH. is it identifying routes that have rappels or something? I have the Williams guide book and couldn't find it in there either.

Comments: this is one of the few, if only, climbs ive done at the gunks that I feel is spot on for the rating. maybe even more of a 5.4 with some thoughtful moves at the top

Comments: not to knock the leader but in the bottom left corner of the pic, that large and slightly off shelf block is very loose (it wobbles if you step on it). I would not have placed pro there.

Comments: I agree with objectification of women being a problem on here but I cant defend this one as this seems very intentional that it was posted for reasons other than climbing.

Comments: I was looking to do this Climb over the weekend but I'm a bit confused. Can someone explain the 3rd pitch to me? the climb is listed as 2 pitches and the description lists P1 and P2 but then goes into something about continuing to climb after the GT ledge. but all the comments say to make sure you hit the 3rd pitch. I don't quite follow.

Comments: felt a little sandbagged like some other climbs at south wall. BETA: no cams work at the top of the crack, its gets too wide. keep your eyes open for other placement, its there. fun climb even if it was a bit scary for me being new to trad leading.

Comments: took an alternate line on TR on this. started about 6 feet to the right on the flakes. first half up to the ledge is pretty easy, 5.8 stuff. after the ledge is pretty non existent with a mix of mono pockets and small crimps, maybe 5.10/5.11 range. lot of fun though

Comments: the description says "6 bolts to anchors". last I remember, unless I missed something, there was 5 bolts and then the anchors.

Comments: fun little climb. at the mini roof you can stay to the right or for more fun pull it from directly under the roof. top out and you're pretty much done.

Comments: fun, short, and pumpy! be careful moving out left just before the anchors, its still pretty loose up there. my buddy pulled a breadloaf sized chunk down just the other day.

Comments: has the potential to be a good route but right now the rock fall is awful. there's also a lot of loose holds still on this route, so much so that I was afraid to grab anything by the end of the climb. first half has some pretty rough moves and the second half is an awkward scramble.
as with the bird always wear a helmet but this route is A MUST!

Comments: not sure who handles the upkeep at rumney but I was just on junko this weekend and one of the quick clip anchors has a loose gate that stays about half way open. when you try to close it the gate just falls open again. the other anchor is in good shape but to be safe the first one should be replaced.
