More information:
My husband and I started climbing in the midwest in 2001. We cragged at the Red River Gorge, Southern Illinois, the New River Gorge and Summersville. Right about the time we started trad climbing, I was accepted into Colorado State for gradschool and we moved to Fort Collins.
I love this town, and I love living in Colorado. You can blast it all you want, but try living in Indiana for 10 years and then tell me what you think!!
We also travel quite a bit now, and have happily climbed sport and trad all over the country: Joshua Tree NP, Linville Gorge, Moab, City of Rocks, the Tetons, Devil's Tower, the Needles, Flagstaff... etc.
Lately we've spent most of our summers camping in Vedauwoo every weekend, and enjoying the fat-crack life. We sport climb in the Poudre Canyon, N Table Mtn, and Shelf Road. We've explored most of the major trad areas around the Front Range, and have had a lot of fun climbing in and around Eldo and Rocky Mountain NP.
If you need information about climbing in the Northern Front Range, you could email me, or just read this site! Have fun!! |
