Comments: Wow, what a journey. Some notes from 8/28/08. The bivy is spectacular and the approach up from Cascade to VC is steep waist deep brush with thick pine needles, deadfall, and rockbands. We did not find any sign of a climbers trail and I smelled like a huckleberry when we were done, hey bears.
Know that the route starts below the long black roof and work left and up through ledges and slabs from the Gunsight. This is a long route with some clean 5.7 climbing and a lot of easy scrambling. We... more >>
