Comments: So they built this, but it's illegal to climb on? Can or can't you climb here legally?
Has anyone been ticketed or know of confrontation? Are there signs that say no bouldering or climbing on the climbing structure?

Comments: Just did this last Wednsday sans flake for the first time. Yes this route is way better with out the flake. For most people this makes the route harder, and more sustained for climbers of the grade. For me, the route is easier. I have climbed this route close to 30 times or so. I don't really know, mostly guided. I have never touched that flake nor have I ever put a piece of gear behind it. I have always thought it to be suspect having climbed in Eldo enough to see many things come down.... more >>

Comments: I definitely think Osirus deserves 3 stars. Yeah, maybe pitch one is a bit of a grunt but so is the Harding Slot on Astroman and that doesn't detract from it. While I respect your right to give this 2 stars, I fully disagree. It's staying 3 stars in my book.

Comments: Justin , I just so happened to be there to witness your epic struggle while attempting to remove the cover from the manhole. I somehow failed to notice the look of enjoyment while you were stuck in that tight hole. You seemed to be in your warm, safe, happy, place. Strong men also cry!!! Strong men, also cry!!!

Comments: Very fun for a Lumpy chimney. I had a 4.5 and a 5. The 4.5 was left after pushing the 5 for a while. the 4.5 was quite tipped out when left. I think you woul be psyched to have two 5's and bring a light standard rack to a 3. The climbing is pretty secure and a solid leader at the grade will be ok with the runouts on a light rack. The left variation that Charles speaks of looks really good and is called the French Tickler 5.8 hands. Not as intimidating as it looks, but well worth it. I sugg... more >>

Comments: WOW!!! All you 5.9 hardmen saddle up for this, and prove your worth at the 5.9 grade. A must for the Lumpy Offwidth circuit. While your there and you have the big gear, be sure to check out the Penis Chimney to round out some wide 5.9 cragging. The gear is bomber throughout, but save some finger size cams or nuts and a few draws for the top out crack over the roof.
