More information:
I am a family man with a 2 year old daughter (at time of writing this)and a 10 year old stepson. My boy likes to climb in the gym and top rope outdoors. I cannot wait to introduce my little girl to climbing. My wife is a nurse and works weekend nights so I have to butter up the inlaws to watch the kids when I go climbing. I still need to get my wife into climbing:)
It's sad to say that I am thankful to climb outdoors 3 days a month but would love to get out more. Having kids makes it tough. I've been climbing off and on for the past 15 years or more. Now I am really interested in learning to safely trad climb. I am sticking to stuff 5.7 and easier until I get more confident. I would love to meet another couple or group with kids to do any kind of low key cragging in the meantime! Overall I am always psyched to climb with new people and just get outdoors.

Finger Flake 5.7
May 5 - Led the crack a few feet to the left of finger flake to the same anchors. Fun gear placement practice.
Kyle's Crack 5.7
May 5 - Fun climb that is easily protected all the way. Bouldery start made it interesting. I know I used a bd 3.5, and a couple friends up to a #4.
Finger Flake 5.7
Apr 21 - First trad lead at grade. Fun with minimal gear needed. I used a blue tcu, 2x.75 camalots, and a couple of small nuts. (Overprotected;)
Wavy Gravy 5.8
Apr 21 - Nice climbing. Reachy clips. Maybe it's just my short arms.
