Sep 10, 2023 · Lead / Onsight. Climbed with Nate. We took the original start. I led pitches 2, 3, and 5. Left trailhead at 8:55am. Reached base of the climb at 11:40am; spent a while scouting the base, racking up. Topped out at 4:30pm. Back at the trailhead at 7:00pm.

Mar 7, 2023 · Lead / Onsight. Climbed with Tom. Left car at Oak Creek trailhead at 7:10am. Took middle, 4th-class approach, reached IBM boulder at 9:00, then wrong turn (went right into the Painted Bowl), reached base of the route at 10:00. Started up route at 10:40. P2 crack was seeping. Linked P1&2 and P4&5. Took the P8 bolted line; surprisingly hard but hands were freezing and numb. Topped out at 18:20 (about 7.5 hours on route). Descent took 7 hours- unusually snowy on top (2' deep in places), trail was hard to find. Reached the car at 1:30am.
