Arizona Black Rattlesnake (Crotalus cerberus) on the way out from the Wiked Witch wall, Munchkinland area. This snake was irritated, but seemed very hesitant to strike. Although ready to defend itself if necessary! Neat sounding rattle, did it in real short bursts, like a shicka..... shicka....

Aerial photo of the East end of Catalinas. Some crags pointed out. Munchkinland is hidden, but behind the ridge pointed to. The ruins can be seen easily.

This is the back of the outback from the ridge that leads right down to it. After you hike up from the wooded area with the big fire ring, you see this.
