Comments: I tried this with two other friends and we all thought that this was at least 11+. Definitely not 11-. The slab crux is THIN.

Location: TX : Reimer's Ranch : Serpent Wall : Flakey Tigress (5.8) By: JonnyGreenlee When: Jul 23, 2012 | view comment >> |
Comments: This route is on the same wall as the routes listed under Serpent's Wall, to the right of Dead Cats. Not sure if the Dead Cats Annex is just another name for that wall, because there is a single wall with about 10ish routes with no obvious break that seems to get listed as either Serpents or Annex.

Comments: Strange first bolt placement- why put it above a dynamic crux move? Either stick clip or risk an ankle if you don't stick the move.

Comments: Still a lot of snow at the base of the cliff on March 7, but climbable and dry rock.

Comments: Not very exciting in any way, but I've found this to be a good route (and crag overall) to bring people for first sport leads.

Comments: I did this first just running out the easy sections- did it again with gear, found a nice 0.3 C4 placement below the little roof and a 0.5 C4 in the easier climbing above it. It takes some of the fun out of it but sews it up nicely.

Comments: The line basically follows straight up the tree that cuts through the belayer's back, crux is the little roof that can be seen a few feet above the guy getting lower'ed head. 5 bolts, super shuts for anchors, great climb.

Comments: It has separate anchors to the right of the anchors for Lincoln it Up.
