Comments: The first two pitches are good climbing and generously bolted, but the Hornpipe variation at the top is the payoff. Very fun. Be cautious about reaching the anchors to rap off.

Comments: This is an excellent climb and very well protected. Given Clear Creek ratings, it's definitely a 5.8... doesn't rate a 9. The crux comes in the first half of the climb and ends with a juggy roof that feels very positive. This climb alone makes the trip to Cat Slab worth the effort.

Comments: I snugged up the anchor bolts. Seems to be no problem.

Comments: There is a headwall at the 6th or 7th bolt that requires some thin moves. The crux comes right at the bolt with very little with which to make the clip. This 5 or 6 feet of climbing puts the grade at 5.9+. Pretty tough for a 5.8 leader.

Comments: The first three bolts are definitely 5.8, but the final 10 feet to the anchors is much harder... could even be 10+ or 11. Moving WAY left might make it easier, but staying anywhere close to the third bolt makes the climb a lot tougher than 8.
