Location: NC : Rumbling Bald By: John-Michael Judson When: Dec 22, 2010 | view comment >> | Comments: it should be noted in regards to Dan's comment above, that "improved" means limited. The state (as far as i'm aware) stepped in to pave the road, but in doing so also put in posts which significantly limit the size of the parking area, and put in a gate barring access to the lower parking lot. carpooling efforts should be stepped up if at all possible when visiting

Location: AL : Horse Pens 40 : Mulletino Boulder. : Mulletino (V7) By: John-Michael Judson When: Nov 22, 2010 | view comment >> | Comments: I've just recently started going to Horse Pens and after sending this i was told by some locals that a bit of rock broke off the close side of the large roof feature making a jug out of what was before an unusable edge. This makes both Mulletino and Short Long a good deal easier unless intentionally avoided. I'm horrible at assessing grades so I won't bother with trying to give a new one. I still found both problems super classic and very fun.
