Comments: The pin was removed on Saturday and came out quite easily. It was a very small lost arrow. Bomber gear very close to where the pin was but small and probably not around when this climb was put up. I talked to Matt Beebe about this route and he thought it was around 12c when he tried it years ago. It is hard but so is 12a/b.

Comments: I onsighted this problem years ago and thought it was around V4/V5 (JT ratings, not the gym fluff rating). I'm 5' 10".

Comments: Been working on this one the last few weekends to no avail. The next two moves from the picture I posted are even harder than the first two moves, that are desperate. Need cool temps and tips of steel for this one.

Comments: Desperate smearing. V3+ if its in the 60's. Just gets harder as the temps rise.

No running, you start on the rock and dyno.

Comments: Not bad (~20') but I still had a move to do to get to the decent right hand. I was "tense and nervous and can't relax".
Editing comment: the fall was OK.

Comments: The "added" last bolt was placed too far to the left and is a little hard to clip. Great route though. The "Javelin" unprotected start goes up and left to get to the first bolt.

Comments: Just did this route again on Sunday, really good. Took me a few goes to remember the thin sequence near the top. Solid 5.12. C'mon people, anyone else getting on some of the harder faces?

Comments: I just replaced the first two 1/4" bolts on the first pitch with 3/8" X 2 1/2" Hilti wedge anchors. Merciless, sharp crimping to a very thin, technical crux move around the last bolt and still another couple hard moves to get into the giant flake. Second pitch is way harder, more on that later.

Comments: Time for that pin to go away. Bomber gear about 4 inches below (purple Metolius) and another one 18 inches below (blue Metolius) the pin. The crux is the move off the big underling flake. The moves getting to the big undercling flake are not bad, maybe mid 11 but you would have the bolt clipped by then. Great route.
