Comments: I think it's on the left of the gated trail off the bike path, kind of close to the roofs and Machine Gun Wall quarry area. Not quite sure though....

Comments: Unfortunately, this boulder is not climbable anymore. The property owner erected a chain link fence around this boulder right in the landing zone.

Comments: We are starting it sitting on a very obvious jug down and left of the nose. Makes it totally obvious and uncontrived, no way to reach the crack except to climb up and over the nose. We have also worked on starting it the way you described, sitting on the right, and that is contrived because you could easily reach the crack at a few points.

Comments: Actually not contrived as you can't reach the crack on either side if you are climbing the nose directly....

Comments: Can also be started sitting to the left at obvious side pulls. Make a move up and traverse into start of Two Step. Probably V4ish.

Comments: Ladd, not being a jerk, just curious as to why eliminates and variatons bummed you out? you should be psyched that people are so motivated to climb that they will climb any and all variations. i have travelled all over the U.S. and have never found a more climbable rock than lincoln woods. holds everywhere, so the locals take adavantage of that and climb anything and everything. if you only want to climb the pure lines, go ahead, but i don't see where there is any negative in having more pro... more >>
