The first pitch in fat conditions. The approach in 2012 fall season was all scree - no snow slogging. The low angle ice above was also fat and fun climbing.

Eastern Roofs is shown on the left. On the main east face, we spotted an unknown climb with fixed anchors and some bolts and pins up a beautiful but deadend crack. It is unclear whether the unknown party completed the line to the summit. We climbed a variation first pitch to reach the first set of anchors after establishing Eastern Roofs but stopped here.
