Comments: How about an extension of this to create the Wheel of Lincoln Woods: at the end, traverse back right at mid-height (crimps of New Dimension, Jacked Bagel, and Neil's Lunge, etc.) to finish on the Warm up Problem topout???

"fikemoley Had our first sport climbing day of the season! I managed to complete all of the moves on the #billclinton project. This thing is definitely a step up in difficulty from its neighbors... instagram.com/p/BEZUueirxhd/

Comments: I thought I saw something on FB or instagram from Mike Foley saying that he had finally done all the moves. Of course, he has now moved out west, so it may still be a project for a while...

Comments: I noticed this on my recent trip to Bar Harbor while walking on the shore path. Looks like a cool overhang out there on that face! DWS might be tidal dependent...

Comments: Dan, glad you added this boulder, it is a fun one. I climbed these problems, the front fin-like arĂȘte, and a few other easier problems on the other side many years ago. I don't mind if you name them (they may have even been climbed before I did them), but they have been climbed in the past. I also worked on a project that starts sitting to the left that was really hard (I thought V10+ at the time).

Comments: I do this problem every time I am at Try Again, though I start sitting with the left hand on the broken start hold of Pete's and a low right sidepull (just above the good foot).

Comments: Not trying to be a jerk, Mark, but if there's no info on how to request permission, the boulders are essentially off-limits unless you happen to know the owner, right? Is the owner cool with just anyone asking if they can climb here or does he just want his friends on his property? The owner can do whatever he wants since he's the owner, but posting to a public website like this would only make sense if he wants strangers contacting him and coming to his... more >>

Comments: Was thinking the same thing, Jim, almost seems like a "look at these really cool boulders that you can't climb on..." kind of thing. Been a few of these posted lately and am wondering if MP should have a policy of removing areas with access issues???

Comments: So, we did a sit start to the arĂȘte to the left of this finishing as you did, and a direct sit start in the middle of the crack to the crack and the same finish. I will add these soon!

Comments: Ok, I'm all for adding routes to this area, but let's not get crazy with the FAs. People have been climbing at Snake Den since the late 60s, at least. Ed Sewall's old guide mentions some easy routes on the right side of Crag 4 that were clearly climbed but not deemed worthy to make his guidebook. Go ahead and make up names, as there's nothing worse than unnamed routes but there probably isn't much that hasn't been done at the Crags in Ed's guide...

Comments: I once stepped in a bees nest at Gilbert Hills, went in past my ankle. Looked down and saw a shit ton of bees. Lucky for me it was cold and I didn't even get stung. Scared the crap out of me though...

Comments: I'm sure this has been done before, probably by Justin or Kozo or maybe one of the RI South crew, but it should still be added here. Only thing is there is already a problem called Cold Shoulder at the Lower Heart, so it should probably have a different name...

Comments: Unfortunately, Taylor, it's the nature of bouldering at Lincoln Woods. The rock is so climbable that a lot of problems end up having rules to keep them at a certain difficulty. There's nothing wrong at all with climbing any piece of rock however you want to climb it but some of the "classics" do have specific rules from back in the day...
