Comments: This has some interesting moves, and some slightly tricky gear. I hauled up a bunch of big stuff but didn't use any of it, mostly small to medium Aliens. Some small to medium tricams might be the useful for the bottom section.

LOVE the name, perfect name for a new climb at the Sun Spots.

Comments: Actually, Community Service is a couple climbs to the left. We were fortunate enough to watch him free solo Community Service, although we didn't realize it was him at the time.

Comments: On a mountain full of fantastic 5.11's, this is one of my favorites. A huge variety of moves and techniques, plus an exciting and pumpy finish. A must-do if you are at the Sun Spots.

Comments: You can also try this as a jump start. Stand on the boulder below, grab the left hand sidepull, and jump up to the good holds. Topping out is still pretty hard and committing. The sit start to this will be a burly problem - go get it Matt.

Comments: For a fun mantle problem, from the start throw your right to the first sloper, then mantle straight up from there.

Comments: I noticed people had been climbing on this one a bit, so I cleaned the big loose block today. I did not have a decent brush, so the ledge is a bit dirty, but the head crusher block is gone.

Comments: Good eye on this one Trey, it's a cool dyno. I'm tall and was able to skip the bad pocket and dyno straight to the lip.

Comments: Was out there today, and the hold is definitely flexy. I think if used solely as a gaston on The Rails, it will last a while. If people are working the project(?) that starts down and right, and uses the gaston as an edge, pulling down and out, it will pop much sooner.

Comments: As good as Hard Day is, this is even better. It is longer and more sustained, and for me, every single move was smooth and seemed to flow right into the next one. Not an awkward move on the whole climb. there are some amazing sequences using some unique holds, and some really cool hidden rests. I'm pretty sure this will always be near the top of my favorite climbs.

The crux is waiting the 9 months until we can get back out there.

Comments: This tall problem was climbed ground up, so there are still some loose holds that will break. There is a loose block at the lip of the hole, and take extra caution up high.

Comments: There are a couple different variations you can do on this one. Topping out way right makes the topout much more difficult. Or, make one or two moves on the rail, then go straight up to a white incut rail, then to a small crimp on the vertical headwall, then up to the ledge. A little easier, but very fun.

The easiest walk off is by climbing ABOVE the tree, walking to the right over the tree, then down.

Comments: This is a nice little bouldering area, whether you are looking for some fun, easy problems or some mutant-hard projects. The setting is hard to beat, as well.

I know people have been climbing here for a while, but with a paucity of information regarding climbs in this area, we have been adding problems with names we have given them. If you have climbed these problems before and had a name for them, let me know and we'll revert to the original name.

Comments: The hike is well worth it if you are prepared to hike, and prepared for a little choss. There are some real good boulders here, but there is still a fair amount of loose rock. Many problems are cleaning up nicely, but others still need more traffic. And there are still PLENTY of new lines if you are willing to put in the effort of cleaning them up a bit.

There are some new topos, and hopefully more soon, at boulderingtucson.com.

Comments: This problem has been re-sent, and is an absolute classic. Bomber rock (now that it has cleaned up a bit) and fantastic movement through 20 feet of roof. This problem would be a classic in Hueco, and is certainly one of the best in Tucson.
