Comments: Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone had any additional information on Cayman Brac. My fiance and are are scheduled to honeymoon there from Dec. 2nd - 11th and will be staying at the Carib Sands Beach Resort.
Any current info on the island would be greatly appreciated. We are planning to dive, climb and whatever else sounds like a fun adventure...

Comments: I'm probably completely lost. At the far right end of the wall, there are 2 routes that go up a short chute to the first bolt which they share. One route goes to the right exposing some great views from the crag. The other goes slightly left up the face. The left route felt slightly more technical than the right to me. I didn't have any beta for the area, so we were just pointing and shooting... I thought both of these were really good routes.

Comments: Can anyone tell me what the route to the left of Glowing In The Distance is? It shares the first bolt with Glowing but goes left up the face. Easy climbing to the first 2 bolts then thin climbing for the next 3 bolts.

Comments: @ Adrian, There's a line between Glowing and Mogenhead. Shares the same first bolt as Glowing, but go's left up the same wall. Easy first and second clips followed by 3 bolts on thin, engaging face.

Comments: Wow!! This climb keeps you wondering what's going to stay and what's going to crumble away! Very exciting climb. You get some great stances with a lot of fragile moves to get to them. I lead with 3 others following, after the 1st pitch, my second decided to head back to the ground due to being terrified! Three of us continued, hoping that we'd find more stable terrain above, we didn't.
Well bolted, but a bit heady regardless. I think it may go up a grade after some more cleaning!

Comments: Climbed " Fold Out " on Sat., May 28, 2011. Great climb! The start of the climb was fun with big holds, the last 20 feet... WOW!! Fantastic moves to the anchors!

Comments: I'd had a " High Gravity " day on a prior attempt to climb this route before. I made it to the 2nd belay ledge and had to bail, mentally I just didn't have it that day!
Climbed Dark Shadows on Fri., May 27, 2011. Fantastic climb and we had the route to ourselves. I combined pitches 1 & 2, swung lead with my friend Dick and then I finished up on pitch 4. I'm so glad I went back to climb this one, I enjoyed the entire climb and will probably climb it again!

Comments: Had a great day on this climb! We parked outside the gate and made the hike in from the road at 5:00am. We were the first party on the route and I'm so glad we got there early. 5 parties ( including us ) and one of the parties was 3. We started climbing about 7:00 am and topped out at 1:00 pm.
We started rapping down on one 70M at 1:30, had to rap past all 4 parties below us, made it down and started hiking out at 3:30 pm.

Our 70M was a little short for pitch 7 and pitch 1, not a major issue.... more >>

Comments: Just climbed this one on Friday. Have to say that I was disappointed. I'd heard mixed reviews about it but wanted to climb just the same. I wouldn't go on this one again, interesting climb but nothing particularly great about it.

Comments: Can anyone confirm the route beta? Is it correct on mountain project? There seem to be a lot a varied beta on the length of pitches.

Comments: That has got to be one of the weirdest starts. I felt completely off balance getting that second clip. The rest of the route was much easier and fun.
