"If you are going through hell, keep going." Winston Churchill

Wisconsin born and raised. Cultivated by the DLFA. Seasoned in the southwest....

I started climbing when I was fifteen years old at Devils Lake Wisconsin during the early nineties. What a magical time that was.

I have been living in Northern Arizona for most of my adult life. The open lands we are surrounded by here are so varied and intriguing that I routinely feel blessed to call this place home. With the help of friends I have managed to establish well over one hundred routes throughout NAZ over the last number of years, and countless boulder problems. And there's no reason to stop now... Thanks to all the inspiring friends, and partners I have had throughout the last twentyfive years who have helped keep me on track towards beauty and adventure. Here is to another twenty!

As far as being an Admin here on Mountain Project, all I am trying to do is help. The way I see it, if it's going to be posted anyway, the information might as well be as accurate/good as it can be. These days, I am a firm believer that good public information helps spread climbers out, and alleviate overcrowding. I also like getting folks psyched if I can.

Moving towards the future, really, all I want to do here on Mountain Project is to keep the info straight as best I can (cause there is a ton of it!!), get others motivated to enhance the available local history, and to help locals and visitors alike, explore the rich diversity of climbing we are so blessed to have here in Northern Arizona.
