Comments: Did this route with Dan Foster a few years back. I enjoyed the whole experience and remember that if you get 'wrong handed' on the last pitch you could be screwed. I think that is the reason for major differences in the grade. Choose your sequence wisely.

Comments: A friend and I did this line last weekend, and I thought it was a pretty good romp. Pitches 1 and 2 have more good gear than you can see from their respective beginnings. Both of us squeezed through the "Wedge"... I am 6'2 and 170 pounds. It took a while, but I made it through.

I certainly don't miss that shit! I remember the first day I ever roped up was January 16 1991. Freaking freezing, we had a fire at the base of Georges and would run a lap, come down and thaw out, and then run another... A bad introduction to the game, but it was still love at first crimp. JJ

I am just psyched you guys are finding stuff, and having fun in the park. My first visits there were as a kid fishing with my dad and the family, long before I ever started climbing. I was lucky to have a father that would take us out into the outdoors and show us how to appreciate it. Even if it was just a state park now and again.

If this is the stuff I am thinking it is I hiked a few years back with my oldman. It may be on private property, and from what I remember there could be some lines, but I wasn't psyched about it as I walked away. You never know though, a different set of eyes can do wonders... And I spent most the day clawing through prickers... JJ

He came walking down around the corner with that classic grin of his, mumbling something about "high bouldering"... and left it at that for me to interpret. Nobody around, just he and I.
