Comments: Merry Maids and a few more ascents will bring this route squarely into "stardom". So much lichen and mess dropped down on my tee-shirt, it took a few minutes to find it... Certainly, worth doing. I must have missed the "jug on the left"... I'd say solid 11.c

Comments: Trying to get into climbing in Poudre Canyon. Not a lot of time to explore. Is there any good info out there? We stopped a few miles past the tunnel by a very prominent wall along side the river. Across the road were a few nice looking (sparsely bolted) routes? Downhill maybe 200ft we climbed an arete (5.9?) and found two nice lines above. We climbed the right side (8 bolts maybe) and thought the grade to be 12 something. Does this sound familiar?

Comments: I agree with the crux comment... I had a choice to make either, move my right foot left (regaining the "footing") and leave my two middle fingers "lodged in the" crack (tiny), or back down. I will say that my right hand is still in tact... Stiff crux.

Comments: I agree with the grade. The rating, two stars? Maybe after the maids finish cleaning it.I broke off two holds. One at the start and one at the second crux (small bulge). This is a great route that needs more traffic! Filled with tricky sequences. The top is amazing. Bring a umbrella for your belayer, Lichen City!

Comments: I'm not sure about two stars maybe one. Three stiff (Rifle-like) opening moves get's you past the crux. Nice rock- the finish is rough though. I give it 11b/c...

Comments: Great climb. One of the nicer 11a's I've climbed. Stay on the lay back for a while, and the turn onto the face is nice. Tough start, and great position and pulls up high.

Comments: Did this route last week. 11c/d is generous. The roof starts well, a little tricky, but ends in a "positive" sense. Certainly worth the drive down! A must do Clear Creek route! I say b or b/c.
