More information:
I am a professional mountain climbing guide and a freelance writer. I finally moved away from Las Vegas after living there and guiding there for nine years. I now live in Bellingham, Washington and manage the guides at the American Alpine Institute.
I have guided and climbed abroad many times, but my home ranges -- the places I love the most -- are the Red Rocks of Southern Nevada and the Cascades of Washington State.
I have authored two guidebooks. In 2003, Washington Ice: A Climbing Guide was published by Mountaineers Books and in 2008, Fun Climbs Red Rocks: Topropes and Moderates was published by Sharp End Books.
I currently make 3-4 trips to the Southwest every winter to guide and climb. The rest of the time I'm up in the Pacific Northwest playing in the Cascades... |
