It is also possible to deck while going for the 2nd bolt above the eventual ledge... if this at your limit, be careful.
It probably didn't help that I worked it on a hot June afternoon in direct sunlight. Everything felt slick.

By: Jason MT When: Jun 16, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: If you are concerned about falling on this, it is easy to TR. Just climb the 2 pitch route called Encore (it's a good warm-up anyway.) You can rap down to the Big in Japan anchors from the top using a 60m... but just barely, so make sure your rope is centered.

By: Jason MT When: May 21, 2012 | view comment >> | Comments: I climbed all 9 pitches today and the new pitches are excellent. They are substantially harder than the first 3 so I wouldn't recommend them for 5.7/5.8 leaders.
To provide more info, I created a new route just for the extension. If anyone has anything to add/correct, or if the person who set the route wants this added into the CSDL route description, just let me know.
