Comments: Livin' on the Edge is pretty stiff for the grade. My guess is that this route is more in the .13a range.

Comments: "The iPhones GPS works on satellite, so again all the real time navigation tools don't require an internet connection -- you just need to be able to see the sky..." I think the iPhone GPS is actually accomplished through a triangulation of cell phone towers not satellite driven...

Comments: If you visit Rock Creek you can see the remnants of past climbing...fixed pins on a lot of the walls. Rumor has it that Mike McCarrin had authored a hand drawn guidebook... I have also heard of some harder routes being established in the creek (.13ish) by McCarrin??? FYI; A few years ago i was speaking with a local & was told that another canyon exists in the area. apparently it is on private property, but is supposedly deeper and more undercut than rock creek...does anyone have any in... more >>

Comments: Is that Berly in those pictures??? Sweaty...I've been to Taylor's a few times...mos def worth the drive. Their used to be a nice topo of a bunch of problems floating around in cyber-space somewhere...anyone got the beta on where to find the maps?

Comments: I was working the low traverse to the right last weekend...it could use a little more cleaning, but after an initial scrubbing the holds weren't too sandy...my guess is it will go in the V8 range.

Comments: I brought my shoes...sad to say the day would have been better spent slugging beers on the beach. But don't let my spoiled attitude ruin your expectations of Tulum...have fun - it's a beautiful area - but don't expect too much from the climbing.
