Comments: Sorry to say, but this place is now a Sport Park. Had another group on each side of me the entire time climbing here. Classic trad route with bolts. Makes me glad Eldorado has a bolting ban. I do enjoy clipping bolts once in a while, so I am glad Boulder Canyon has its own set of rules.

Comments: My father, John Hulett, used to climb FAs a lot with Chuck Grossman in this area. I know for sure the route "Boot Camp" was the work of John Hulett, too. Next trip I take there w/ him I'll be sure to have him clarify some routes. He said that Grossman even did a FA before his wedding in the canyon. Such a hidden gem Escalante must have been back in the '80s. John says no addition of bolts on existing trad routes.

Comments: Pumped myself out before finding a crack right and up of the perfect #1 cam placement in the vertical slot. There is a shallow, right-facing dihedral and the cracks are on the right of it. This hidden crack makes the climb much, much easier.

Comments: Found a rope coiled at the top rap anchors after my first free solo of the route and was happy to rap with it to the ground instead of onsight downclimbing from the backside. I will be happy to return it to its owner if the correct color can be identified.

Comments: Fun stuff. Both the roofs were super fun, almost swing moves on jugs. a fitting name for the climb. Didn't bring enough water for this hot afternoon climb and became super dehydrated, so I didn't enjoy it as much as I would have if I had more water. Great climb.

Comments: Awkward five 8. Three of us did it all with different tactics. I did less stemming and more foot jamming and it was fun! Bear hug near the top.

Comments: First time at Lumpy. Climbing was awesome. I'm short, so the stem move was a bit of a reach and commitment but super fun at the same time. The crack over the bulge was my favorite part.

Comments: Is there a date on the first ascent? In Bernard Gillett's book, he claims FA was in '87 with John and Robert Gillett.
