Comments: The anchor is to the left and down a little bit. Kind of hidden below another rock.

Comments: Just did this route today and thought it was great! One note however is that on the easy slabs above the anchor there is a 500+lbs block resting on a teeter totter. We debated trundling it, but since my dog was hanging out at the bottom decided that would be a bad idea. Plus didn't know how far down the hill it would roll. Instead we reinforced it with a bunch of rocks to hopefully stabilize it for future parties. I would advise future parties to climb around it to the right... Super fun ap... more >>

Comments: We rapped straight down from the anchors above the crux pitch and found a set of anchors about 100 or so feet down. There are two sets of anchors above the crux, the belay bolts, and then the rap anchors. I could see confusion if someone tried to rap off of the belay bolts straight down the other face. I thought the rappel route was super well thought out and clean. Great job on the FA of this route, what a vision. Had a big wall feel in sub 40 degree temps and climbing with a puffy. Can... more >>

Comments: So are the bolts on this bad because they are placed badly, or because the rock is just that bad? I really want to do this climb, and would be willing to replace the anchors if it's that simple...

Comments: Grades felt pretty on. The first pitch might feel harder for a shorter climber with the reach at the rail, but the rest seemed right on. It was super fun, again thanks for putting the work into it. Stoked to get on Solitaire!!!

Comments: This route was super fun! Thanks to those who put the time and effort in on, not only the trail up to the area, but to the route also! The 5.10 pitch us super quality, the slab is surprisingly good, as is the last pitch!

Comments: Really fun and interesting movement. Exploring the summit of courthouse butte is a real treat. Brought some more gear on the first pitch but didn't see any options to place it. The 2 and 3 are great though.

Comments: At 35 feet it seems more like a highball boulder problem to me. If there wasn't so much other good rock in Idaho I might consider making a trip to do that. I was just making an observation based on the fact that sometimes in southern idaho cracks are bolted that should not be.
