When I tried the route last year I did not have the right type of nuts. You want micros, the flat ones, not offsets.

By: Jack Ziegler When: Jun 27, 2011 | view comment >> | Comments: OMG, so good! The Best crack at Tahquitz/suicide I'd say. I think there are two cruxes. The power crux, right after the second chimney you stem up, and an endurance crux, the last off hands crack section.

There was a long sling for a rap where I stopped, with which with a 70m you can rap to a sturdy bush where I discovered the double cracks.

there is an hard/akward mantel on the 2nd pitch to get to the belay, that i thought was harder than the roof.
the roof is fun though
