Comments: Climbed Melvin's yesterday. Looks like all that recent rain we had caused some rockfall down the offwidth/trough of pitch 3 and in turn took out the hanging tat belay at the end of pitch 2.

The whole horn that was slung is gone! Plan accordingly. You could still probably put a belay there, but it would be more cramped than previous.

Also the descent gully to the west had some different character to it as well. Both of the previous tat rap stations are gone! Lots of NEW loose rock in that gul... more >>

Comments: How do you descend after climbing the snowfield?? Well the absolute best way is to ski down! or board if you're a split boarder.

Comments: Cool, no bubble busted here. :) Just didn't see it listed anywhere else. I can edit the post no problem.

Comments: Definitely one of my favorite routes on the wall. Great gear and good moves...plus as mentioned above you can also keep climbing up through the overhanging roof above and end up on What's Wrong With Parents anchors. Makes for a more direct and exciting finish. Maybe 5.9 through the roof?

Comments: Great Route. Bring the #6 if you don't want to run out the crux off-width. I pushed a #5 Camalot as far as it would go and you still have about 10-15 feet of OW before you can get some small to finger size gear in (and that seemed like the hardest part). Felt pretty commiting without a #6.

Comments: Yeah, fun route. Super technical and balancy down low, then gives way to superb slab climbing on the upper part of the route. Nice work, dude!

Comments: Good route, IMO pretty stiff for 5.9 especially pulling left around the corner. Felt like 10. One of the better crack climbs at the Hole.

Comments: I have climbed\guided this route many times, one of my favorite on The Ridge, sustained and fun...the lowish angle the crack is set on, don't let that fool ya. Also, if you cruised this 9, go check out Conan's Gonads on the lower Twin Owls.... That's a stiff 9 IMO much, much harder than George's....

Comments: Thought this route was great.... You can easily do the first pitch of Pear Buttress and then just set your belay below the dual cracks of Thin-d, no rope drag to pull u off.... Bring RPs if you like to sew it up.... Enjoy!

Comments: The seam to the right of ODB still hasn't been done yet.... The orange sling that was left up on ODB is there simply for ease of locating the route for future climbers. I'm sure it can be removed now or replaced with camo'ed slings....

Comments: Sweet route!! Might be a little easier for taller people but still totally safe if your a shortie. Like slim said above no edging shoes really needed cause those edges are so crisp...Enjoy!!

Comments: Finally got on this route again after belaying Cor on it on the FA early this summer. Still climbs great, it's cleaned up quite well, looks like it's been seeing some traffic, which is awesome.... Good job again, dude!!
