Comments: Last Chance Canyon is not closed. But access is tenuous right now as the Forest Service is developing a recreational management plan for the area. The Access Fund is aware of what is happening but you must remember that 10 paid staff can NOT take care of every climbing site in the US. Simply impossible. What the Access Fund can do is provide legal support and consult, reference materials and examples of working recreational use plans in other areas.
