Another contemplative moment for me on Resolution Arete, a climb which turned out to have more self exploration than physical climbing for us. Photo by Tom Gray.

More information:
I am working for Alpine Ascents International in Seattle this summer, guiding routes on Rainier and Mt. Baker for the most part. I have lots of 3-4 day breaks, plus some larger blocks off in July, and I'm dying to get out and do some big alpine routes in the North Cascades. Let me know if you're around and we'll get to it, whether it's a couple days in Squampton or a couple days chilling on the side of a mountain.
